Alexa uses many mediums, such as lino printing, embroidery, collage, found and recycled items, and textiles. She has a strong focus on creating work that has very little impact on the environment.

Her preferred style is abstract and she usually uses black as the main colour.

Alexa lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her two young daughters and their dog.
