ARTIST NOTES: I took 'Grim World' during the harsh COVID times when we had so many lockdowns. The very slim and small sea trees at the back of Hastings Foreshore represent how disconnected humanity was during these times and how the future looked.
Taking a closer look at the photograph, it looks like a monochrome picture but it's not. The shades and colours are: black, white, navy blue, really dark green, and grey.
